This ring is a must have for every gemstone lover.
Prehnite is one of the first minerals named after a person. In 1786, the Dutch colonel Hendrik von Prehn brought some samples from the Cape of Good Hope. Later, the mineral was acknowledged as new and named after it's finder.
This stone is cloudy and has black rutile needles. Every needle grows in the mineral differently which makes every piece unique.
I love the natural cloudy green and created a ring around it. The texture imitates the bark of a tree. Because the stone is green, I thought it needed a gold-plated bezel.
